Comments: I have been very pleased with my insurance carrier. My agent is pleasant and always available. Quotes and questions are handled promptly. Claims have been handled to my satisfaction with no delays. I have had the same insurance company for nine years and have no interest in changing, even if someone else's rates are lower. The customer service I recieve is well worth the price.

Comments: American Family Insurance has relatively low rates. There are a sufficient number of agents available. I've never filed a claim, so I don't know how they are in that arena. The people that I have talked to have always been friendly and courteous.

I've had good luck with State Farm. I had a claim a few years back where my car was rear-ended while parked on the street outside work by a hit-and-run driver, and they were easy to work with.
